    Love it!!!! I want to make a cake like this for my daughter's 2nd birthday party (Yo Gabba Gabba themed... what other sort of cake could I possibly make :P) Think I'm going to need some practice to get it looking like that!!!

    The cake was pretty well received by all the kiddies at playgroup. I hadn't been planning on doing it, but two days beforehand I showed a picture to my husband and he said 'that doesn't look too hard' - how wrong he was :P
    It wasn't too bad actually, I just did an easy cake mix twice, divided it into 6 and then put massive amounts of food colouring in. I think I overcooked a few layers (pink was way too burnt to put into the cake, but pink isn't in the rainbow anyway I guess!), but I was SO nervous making the first cut - I wasn't sure if I might have just managed to make 5 shades of brown :)

    That cake makes my head hurt and teeth ache just looking at it.. but yum all the same!! i have always wanted to try a rainbow cake... very hard to make... Your little girl looks so cute wiped out !!!
