I like both photos. I like that you placed the b&w one first. It made me see that while colour is wonderful, sometimes it can detract from the story in the image, unless the story is about colour! I hope the kids had fun exploring.
Thanks mixedgems. I liked the colour one initially, but prefer the black and white, but thought I would put both for contrast. I often forget to try black and white, and yet I LOVE black and white photography. The kidlets had a wonderful day. The boys weren't very keen to come initially, but then we couldn't drag them home, they had so much fun making leaf boats to race, and making 'nests' for their toys out of the moss and weeds.
I have to say, that I like the B&W with this capture, and what a gorgeous capture of your loved ones it is. Thanks for stopping by at my page. Have a great WW.
Thanks everyone for all your comments! It's great that you liked the idea of doing both the colour and the black and white, I wasn't sure if it would be too much. I love that so many people have different opinions on whether they prefer the black and white or the colour! xx Sannah

Love the B&W, but I think the colour is my fave. It's the green moss that won it for me in this shot.
